In some devices, metal wound gaskets are used to achieve better sealing effects. This article mainly introduces the specific operation steps for installing metal wrapped gaskets.

1. The first step is to confirm that the steel strip, mold core, and graphite meet the material, specifications, quality, and other requirements of the winding pad being made; Then check and confirm whether the top wheel meets the requirements, whether the tailstock position is appropriate, and adjust it properly.

2. After everything is confirmed, place the mold core onto the core rod in the mold, pull out the metal wrapped gasket to form a steel strip, insert it through the bolt gap, and operate the cylinder valve to make the top wheel press against the mold core. Operate the foot switch and wrap it three times inside; Then pull out the PTFE tape or graphite tape and wrap it to the desired size. Finally, cut off the PTFE or graphite, wrap the empty steel strip three times to the desired outer diameter, cut off the steel strip, and then turn on the machine for one or two turns. Weld firmly at the tail of the steel strip, operate the manual valve to return the top wheel. Shake the right-hand wheel to move the right mold away, take out the product, knock out the mold core, weld the inner ring of the product firmly, and complete the operation process.

3. After the installation of the metal wrapped gasket is completed, confirm that all items are present, and then install the handwheel handle, steel belt tray rack, and cylinder that were removed during transportation. Place the machine steadily, connect the air source, operate the cylinder valve, check if the top rod shaft moves back and forth flexibly, operate the foot switch to let the machine run, and check for any abnormalities.
